What is paint protection film?

Paint protection film (PPF), also called clear bra, is a clear, flexible film applied over your car's paint. Think of it as a screen protector for your phone: it takes rock hits, grit and light scratches so the paint underneath doesn't, and light marks heal with heat. It can't prevent collision damage or fix chips that are already there.
